There are some new beginnings on the horizon for food joints across the South Shore.

A temporarily-closed restaurant will reopen under the same owners, but with a different concept. A long-standing independent grocery store will close its doors, with a larger grocer will move in. And a local restaurant chain known for its steak tips will move into a now-vacant space in Canton.
