A review of the Middlesex district attorney’s office following the revelation that a State Police investigator may have been driving drunkenly when he was involved in a fatal crash in December 2023 cleared prosecutors of any wrongdoing related to the late disclosure of evidence about the collision.
Thomas Drechsler, a retired superior court judge, made the determination following interviews with 34 current or former employees of the district attorney’s office, according to a 13-page report he authored that was released Wednesday afternoon by District Attorney Marian Ryan’s office.
State Police Sgt.
