RANDOLPH, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) — A theatre that once entertained thousands has been sold, but many questions remain about what will replace the staple.
Several hundred movie theatres have closed across the nation since COVID. The Showcase De Lux Cinema Building along 139 in Randolph is one of them. The theatre, which opened in the 90’s, was a marvel for moviegoers from Brockton the South Shore.
The theater was just sold to Boston-based Core Investments, with development plans in the works, but those plans are being kept under a tight lid for now…
