All’antico Vinaio, a Florence, Italy-based sandwich shop famous for its large, handmade Florentine schiacciata sandwiches, is expanding to Boston.
The shop announced it will open a second location on Washington Street in Downtown Crossing, adjacent to the Old South Meeting House, marking the brand’s first presence in downtown Boston. In its new Downtown Crossing home, All’antico Vinaio will be only a half-mile from South Station and Boston Harbor.
