Eversource reported that during strong winds on March 16 tree limbs hit wires in four areas, leaving 858 residents without electricity. When power returned, some residents needed electricians to fix damage.
It’s unclear whether the damage was caused when the power went out or when the power returned, Master Electrician Frank Baudanza said. In either case, power surges were the cause, he said.
