Plans to bring new housing to Charlestown could be hitting a legal roadblock.
According to Banker & Tradesman, Boston Sand & Gravel has filed a lawsuit in Suffolk Superior Court to halt a major residential development near Bunker Hill Community College. The project, led by Trinity Financial and supported by the Wu administration, could bring up to 705 new apartments to the Austin Street parking lots.
In the complaint, Boston Sand & Gravel is seeking an injunction to stop construction unless safety concerns are addressed.
