A Chelsea man was sentenced on Friday to pay restitution related to a mailed check fraud scheme that netted him nearly $40,000, the Massachusetts U.S. Attorney’s Office announced.
In November 2025, 24-year-old Josman Romero-Delgado pleaded guilty to bank fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud and conspiracy to steal and possess stolen mail in federal court in Boston, federal prosecutors said in a press release.
