The Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston hosted their 13th Annual Living the Dream Dinner on April 13 at the Seaport Hotel, bringing together supporters for an evening centered on the theme “Love in Action.” The event honored Jean, Jim, and the Hunt Family of Dorchester with the congregation’s “Dear Neighbor” award, recognizing their longstanding commitment to faith, family, and community in Dorchester.
Sister Gail Donahue, CSJ, a member of the congregation’s leadership team who once led St. Ann School in Neponset as principal, introduced the family at the event, which highlighted Jim Hunt’s 41-year career with the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers and Jean Hunt’s nursing work at Carney Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, along with the contributions of their sons:…
