Suffolk Deputy Arrested on Child Trafficking Charges

A Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department deputy is behind bars after being accused of raping and sexually trafficking a 15-year-old boy across several South Shore communities, officials said. The suspect, 41-year-old Richard Kielczweski of Hanson, was arrested late Friday and is being held on $250,000 bail, with arraignment set for Monday in Plymouth District Court.

The Hanson Police Department opened an investigation last week after receiving reports that the teen had been sexually assaulted multiple times and that child sexual abuse material had allegedly been created, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office. Investigators sought and obtained an arrest warrant, and Kielczweski was taken into custody late Friday with help from Middleborough police, WCVB reported.
