SOUTH BOSTON — The lawyer for a 24-year-old South Boston mother accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend last month said her actions were in “complete self-defense,” after the man stormed into the home where she lives with her 1-year-old daughter, strangled her, chased her through the residence and threatened to kill her.
Gisselle Pascual, 24, faces a charge of manslaughter in connection with the death of Kyle Bradford, 26, of Cambridge. Pascual was initially charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in the March 27 stabbing, but the charges were upgraded after Bradford died the next day.
