We’ve battled through five straight days of chilly onshore breezes at the coast holding our temps in the 50s and making the afternoons flat-out cold as the sun goes down.
It also gives the impression that April has been colder than normal, making it easy to forget that there have also been several warm days too.
Right now, we’re averaging right around normal for the month in Boston and over two degrees above normal in Worcester.
Precipitation-wise, we’re not as even-keeled. Deficits run between one and two plus inches across the Commonwealth, with some spots on their tenth day without measurable rainfall.
This makes the next event all that more important, but recent trends aren’t promising for a soaking rain.
