He has tackled “Chopped” and “Beat Bobby Flay,” but a Boston chef is hungry for a new Food Network title.
Lambert “Lambo” Givens, executive chef of Hunter’s Kitchen & Bar in South Boston, is competing on Guy Fieri’s new cooking series “Flavortown Food Fight.”
The competition pits chefs against each other as they compete in an “ever-changing lineup of out-of-the-box restaurants, from food carts to fine dining,” according to the show’s description. The winner takes home $20,000.
This marks the latest culinary competition for the soul food chef, who won “Beat Bobby Flay” in 2022 and appeared as a finalist on “Chopped” in 2025…
