Man accused of trying to kidnap 3-year-old boy on Green Line trolley

A Boston man is being held without bail after police say he tried to kidnap a 3-year-old boy and threatened the child’s mother on an MBTA Green Line trolley on Tuesday.

Liban Dualle, 33, is charged with attempted kidnapping, threat to commit a crime, disorderly conduct on a public conveyance and two counts of assault and battery, the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office said. He was arraigned Wednesday and ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on May 26.
