WELD COUNTY, Colo. — The southbound lanes of Interstate 25 are back open after a crash involving two semi trucks closed them for hours Wednesday morning north of the Denver metro area.
The crash was reported around 1 a.m. near near milepost 236, west of Frederick, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
According to the agency, one of the semis was stopped in the right lane of traffic and was then struck from behind by another semi truck. CSP said they’re not sure why the truck was stopped in the roadway…
