DENVER (KDVR) — It was already a unique Fourth of July, with the United States celebrating its 250th birthday, but in Fort Morgan on Saturday, a local veteran-centric non-profit matched that uniqueness through a morning of skydiving.
Veterans Exploration Therapy (V.E.T.) is a non-profit group that is anything but ordinary, as it takes veterans from their everyday lives to do something crazy. Whether it’s unconventional or unorthodox, the mission is simple for V.E.T. Founder Deke Letson, a veteran himself.

“We’re thinking outside the box, coloring outside the lines,” Letson said. “We’re using adventure as a way to reach veterans and family members.”
