In a comment out of left field, former Texas assistant Brennan Marion called out the Longhorns in a moment that could have highlighted his current team instead of disparaging a previous one.
Marion, who was named the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach of the Colorado Buffaloes earlier this year, inexplicably took aim at the Texas Longhorns, the very team he spent a season with just a few years ago.
“Our O-Line is better than what we had at Texas, other than we don’t have [Kelvin Banks Jr.],” Marion said. “Offensive line-wise, we’re better, we’re bigger, we’re more physical. This will be the best offensive line that I’ve ever had.”
