A moose reportedly injured a woman who was hiking on Forest Service Road 505 trail in the Nederland area, according to a report from local news source Daily Camera.
Per the Daily Camera report, the moose was reportedly “spooked” by the 67-year-old hiker, believed to have charged the woman before causing a minor injury that resulted in the woman being transported to the hospital. The attack took place on Monday morning, with first responders heading to the scene around 11:23 a.m.
