DENVER (KDVR) — One human case of the West Nile virus was confirmed in a Longmont resident in Boulder County, according to public health officials.
Boulder County Public Health reported the confirmed case after the person was likely exposed to an infected mosquito while at a private place in Longmont; however, the person has since recovered.
While the person is okay, officials are reminding residents that people infected with the virus may vary from no symptoms at all to issues like a fever, headache, body aches, fatigue, rashes or swollen lymph nodes…
