Longmont residents and visitors now have a new way to get around town with the launch of a public electric bike share program that city officials say will improve access to transit and make biking a more practical option for everyday trips.
About 30 BCycle electric bicycles became available for public use July 29 at five docking stations across Longmont, marking the city’s entry into a regional e-bike share network that will eventually connect several neighboring communities.
