An online petition has garnered more than 2,700 signatures opposing an early-stage proposal that could pave the way for development of a roughly 35-acre horse farm at 8600 Baseline Road in Boulder County, currently just outside Lafayette city limits.
Lafayette has received an application from Bestall Collaborative Ltd. seeking to annex and zone the property, located east of the city’s water treatment plant between 75th and 95th streets.
The applicant has described a long-term vision for a mix of housing serving affordable and “attainable,” intellectual and developmental disability, and market-rate residents.
