Trustees unanimously approved the Legacy Park Development agreement Tuesday night, Sept. 8, with six of seven trustees in attendance. Trustee Arno Olbricht did not attend the meeting.
Legacy Park, formerly known as the Ludlow project, is a roughly 320-acre property with a maximum of 1,800 possible residential units expected to be constructed in phases. Community Development Director Anne Johnson said the first final plat created 453 residential lots, roughly 10 commercial mixed-use lots, seven tracts and numerous out lots for parks and open space.
The developer requested 15 years of vested development rights, allowing the project to proceed under regulations in place when the agreement is approved. This agreement would mean development can continue without being hindered by future code changes…
