BROOMFIELD, Colo. (KDVR) — Four years ago, if you told 12-year-old Maxon Redd’s parents that he’d be dancing on the field at halftime at the University of Colorado Boulder, they likely wouldn’t have believed you.
But after moving to Colorado and finding a new team of doctors for their son, Rita and Steven Redd say they’ve opened up a whole new world of possibilities for Maxon.

“We’d never heard anything like planning that far out about what he needs for the future,” said Rita Redd, Maxon’s mom.
Maxon has limited use of his arms and legs because of cerebral palsy, which affects his movement and balance. He was born with fluid buildup in his brain and had a stroke, which now affects his ability to use his legs and right arm. His family says it also impacted his ability to speak clearly…
