(WJAR) — A local couple is recovering after a routine family hike in Colorado turned into a terrifying encounter with a protective mother moose, as first reported by the South County Star.
Dean and Rosemary Felicetti of Westerly were visiting their son, Gabriel, just outside Boulder, Colorado, when the incident occurred. The trio had decided to go for a short hike along a pristine lake before heading to a birthday dinner for Rosemary.
