The Weld County Household Hazardous Waste program is celebrating the 30 year anniversary of its disposal program with an open house.
“The Household Hazardous Waste program has provided this service to the people in the south county and Dacono for 30 years now and has made such a lasting impact in Weld County,” said Jason Chessher, director of the county’s Public Health and Environment Department. “Reaching 30 years is an incredible milestone for any program.”
The Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment WCDPHE hosts a Household Hazardous Waste open house on Sept. 19 at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility in Dacono.
Weld County residents have safely disposed of household chemicals and other hazardous materials through the Household Hazardous Waste program for 30 years. Those can include pesticides, household cleaning products, paint, household stain and other regularly used chemicals…
