As Broomfield Days festival’s grand marshals, local philanthropic figures honored for their community contributions

Two prominent local philanthropic figures will sit front and center during the Broomfield Days festival as this year’s grand marshals.

John and Beth Bosio moved to Broomfield in 1982 and have seen the city go through changes like the development of the Interlocken area and Broomfield’s consolidation into a city and county in 2001, they said. Through the decades, they’ve given back to the community when they can.

“I saw philanthropy modeled (by my father) at a young age, and we both come from small towns, so after we got here, and especially after we started our own business and started to get more successful, we just felt the desire to give back to our community,” John Bosio said…
