Deion Sanders has been the head coach at Colorado since Dec. 2022. Now, his sons — Shedeur, Shilo and Deion Jr. — are buying him a home in the Boulder, Colorado, area.
On Saturday, a video of Sanders and his sons touring the home was posted to Well Off Media’s YouTube account. The 56-year-old said that his sons wanted to “bless him” with the purchase.
After he was hired to coach the Buffaloes, Sanders bought a four-bedroom home stretching across 6,547 square feet in Longmont, Colorado. But now, he has another place to spend his time.
Shedeur, Colorado’s starting quarterback, and Shilo, a starting safety, are set to turn pro after the Buffaloes’ 2024 season . The 2025 NFL Draft is, of course, a ways away, but the two — along with their older brother — clearly want to get this purchase out of the way quickly.
What does it mean for the elder Sanders’ future in Colorado? Obviously, the real estate market can turn around fast, but with his growing footprint in the Boulder area, it might be time to tapper down the expectation that the Pro Football Hall of Famer is only making a pit stop with the Buffaloes.
