DENVER (KDVR) — A police chase that started in Aurora Friday ended minutes later with a crash in Denver.

Police found the suspect vehicle at approximately 3:46 p.m., and the pursuit was authorized at approximately 3:53 p.m. Cops first chased the vehicle onto Interstate 70, then Interstate 270 and into Denver where police attempted a PIT maneuver.

At that point, police said the suspect vehicle had worn away the tire and was driving on the rims, so they were not sure if the crash was a result of the maneuver or the condition of the vehicle.

The vehicle ultimately crashed on southbound Central Park Road at I-70 after an unmarked patrol unit executed a pursuit immobilization tactic to disable the suspect vehicle. The suspects were taken into custody at 4:10 p.m.
