DENVER ( KDVR ) — Emergency crews are responding to a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 85 in Commerce City.
According to the Commerce City Police Department , officers were called to the crash that took place just before 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
The crash has shut down southbound U.S. 85 at 112th Avenue.
A photo from Commerce City police shows an SUV stopped in the middle of the road, and what appears to be a box truck that ran up the grass and took down a light pole.

One person was injured and taken to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries has not been released.
South Adams Fire Department also responded to the scene.
SkyFOX flew over the scene where traffic remains backed up.
