A pickup truck pulling a trailer hit a car and then hit the home. The struck car went flying through a fence and ended up in a yard belonging to a 77-year-old woman.

The woman’s daughter said the damaged pickup truck was able to take off, but only made it a few blocks away. However, the driver took off running from the corner of 3rd Avenue and Inca Street where the truck stopped.

The driver of the car told FOX31 that the pickup truck ran a stop sign before hitting him.

Olivia Jimenez was in the home, but thankfully was not in the room, when the truck and car crashed. Jimenez, who was using a wheelchair to get around in front of her home, said she was just thankful to be OK.
