Magic Johnson Identifies Culprit In Lakers’ Ugly Game 5 Loss Vs. Nuggets

The Los Angeles Lakers have been officially eliminated from the NBA playoffs following a 108-106 loss to the Denver Nuggets in Game 5.

The game ended in a similar fashion as it did in Game 2, with a Jamal Murray go-ahead mid-range jumper in the final seconds.

Murray finished the game with 32 points on 13/28 shooting. LeBron James tallied 30 points, nine rebounds, and 11 assists in the loss.

Following the game, Lakers legend Magic Johnson took to social media to identify the culprit in the ugly loss.

“Wow. Another game-winning shot by Jamal Murray! He played exceptional, scoring 32 points after being questionable with a calf injury going into today’s game. The Lakers just didn’t have an answer for him.”

LeBron and the Lakers head into a offseason full of questions. Was this the last time we see LeBron in a Lakers jersey? Or even on a basketball court?
