Late last night, the Denver Nuggets suffered a 106-99 loss in Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs Western Conference semifinals at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Wolves guard Anthony Edwards stole the show, notching 43 points, which was a playoff career-high for the young superstar.
Nuggets center Nikola Jokic scored 32 points on 11 of 25 shooting with eight rebounds and nine assists. Despite the solid stat line, Jokic seemed to struggle against the Minnesota big-man lineup that consists of Karl-Anthony Towns, Ruby Gobert, and Naz Reid.
Following the game, Jokic spoke about the adjustment he can make for the Timberwolves rotating the aforementioned three centers onto him and his response is going viral on social media.
“To have a duplicate clone of myself, and then I can be fresh,” Jokic said, “When they sub another guy, I can sub too.”
