Pat McAfee Settles Bizarre Colorado-Baylor Rumor

Due to a uniform situation, the Colorado Buffaloes were heavily scrutinized before Saturday’s Week 4 meeting with the Baylor Bears.

Earlier this week, the program’s social media urged fans to wear white with an announcement that featured Shedeur Sanders in an all-white uniform. The announcement became extremely awkward and nearly controversial after it was also revealed that Baylor planned on wearing white since they were the away team.

On Saturday’s edition of ESPN’s “College GameDay,” Pat McAfee confirmed that the Buffs would, in fact, not be twinning with their Big 12 foe.

“I like Colorado getting the big win,” McAfee said when making his prediction. “And they’re both not wearing white, I’ve been told. They’re gonna wear different colors.”

According to the Waco Tribune-Herald’s Zach Smith, Colorado never alerted Baylor about plans to wear white.

“Baylor was never asked by Colorado to wear off-standard uniform colors for this weekend’s game when that kind of thing is determined in the preseason,” Smith wrote.”Baylor was never asked by Colorado to wear off-standard uniform colors for this weekend’s game when that kind of thing is determined in the preseason.”
