Colorado Posts Two-Word Message After Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter’s Heroics

Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders were critical to Colorado’s improbable 38-31 overtime win on Saturday over Baylor.

Hunter, a two-way star considered by some to be college football’s best player , forced a goal line fumble on defense to close out Colorado’s third win of the season. But it took a 44-yard hail mary touchdown from Sanders to LaJohntay Wester in the pouring rain to force overtime.

In the minutes after the game, the Colorado Buffaloes Football X account posted a couple of inspirational words: “never surrendered.”

The two-word message was accompanied by photos of Sanders and Hunter embracing and another of linebacker Nikhai Hill-Green letting out a celebratory yell on the field.

Sanders finished the game having completed 25-of-41 passes for 367 total yards (26 rushing) and three touchdowns (one rushing).

Hunter, per usual, led the Buffs in receiving after hauling in seven catches for 130 yards. He chipped in three tackles on defense, including the game-winning takedown that forced the game-ended fumble out of the back of the end zone.
