It’s officially ‘spooky season’ in Colorado.
Here are ten exciting events to celebrate Halloween:
1. Fright Fest at Elitch Gardens
Date: Weekends from Sept. 28 – Nov. 3
Elitch Gardens hosts its “Fright Fest” Halloween festivities throughout the spooky season. Fun By Day runs from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Kids can enjoy free candy on the Trick-Or-Treat Trail or participate in other Halloween-themed challenges. Fright By Night begins at 6 p.m., where guests will enter a “world filled with nightmarish creatures lurking around every corner.”
2. Glow at the Gardens at Denver Botanic Gardens (York Street Location)
Date: Oct. 22 – 27, 6 – 9 p.m.
Guests will explore an immersive, illuminated path animated by live performers and decorated with hand-carved pumpkin displays at this event . The jack-o’-lanterns and larger-than-life sculptures are carved from real, locally grown pumpkins. Some areas will include spooky illusions, props, and sound effects.
3. Ghosts in the Gardens – Open Air Scare at Denver Botanic Gardens (York Street Location)
