Over 24-hours since missing 12-year-old seen getting into pickup in Lakewood: Police

DENVER ( KDVR ) — The Lakewood Police Department is searching for a missing and endangered juvenile who was last seen at about 12:41 a.m. on Oct. 7.

The agency said 12-year-old Samantha “Gia” Mora was last seen leaving the 6100 block of West 13th Avenue in the early morning hours of Monday, Oct. 7. She was seen on surveillance footage getting into a pickup truck with an unknown male, the Lakewood Police Department shared on social media.

The vehicle is an older two-door GMC pickup with an unknown temporary license plate. The hood and bed of the truck are light blue and the cab is white. Lakewood police said the pickup also has “large red decals” on the rear windshield that say “In Loving Memory” above an unknown name. The agency was able to share two photos of the vehicle.

Samantha is described as a white female, approximately 5-foot, 4-inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes and was last seen wearing a white Batman t-shirt, black sweatpants, white Nike shoes and carrying a small black purse.
