The Colorado Buffaloes are on a bye in Week 10, and two-way star Travis Hunter took the opportunity to spend part of his Saturday on the set of “College GameDay” in State College, Pennsylvania, before Ohio State-Penn State.
Although Hunter was on the show for just a segment, he took a moment to sit down with the GameDay crew to chat about Colorado’s season and reflect on his performances.
Pat McAfee kicked off their conversation, and when leading up to his first question about how Hunter’s body is feeling, he sent a strong message to the former five-star and No. 1 overall recruit .
“You’re doing stuff that nobody in the history of ball has done,” McAfee said. “I think you’re averaging like 135 plays a game, 140 plays a game.”
Hunter has played nearly every offensive and defensive snap this season and has dominated while doing so.
At wide receiver , the junior has 60 receptions for 757 yards and eight touchdowns. On the other side of the ball at cornerback, Hunter has recorded 20 tackles, seven passes defended, one forced fumble and two interceptions.
