Boulder County voters urged to confirm mail ballot status

Boulder County Elections Division officials urge voters who voted in Tuesday’s election to confirm the status of their mail ballots. The officials said in a press release that some mail ballots are rejected during the signature verification process. First-time voters or voters who moved from out of state may be especially vulnerable to having their ballots rejected because they don’t have as many versions of their signature on file with the state for verification. When these signatures are captured on signature pads, they can also be of poor quality.
