The Colorado Buffaloes are in need of a succession plan for star quarterback Shedeur Sanders, and the team may have found their answer. The latest college football rumors reveal that there is a growing buzz that Colorado head coach Deion Sanders may be on the verge of landing another star.
Colorado has been on the prowl to find another quarterback in the 2025 recruiting class. Sanders is projected to be one of the top quarterbacks selected in the 2025 NFL draft leaving the Buffs with a potential hole at the position next season.
It looks like the Buffs may be close to flipping a five-star quarterback who is currently committed to the USC Trojans. 247Sports’ Tom Loy is now predicting that Coach Prime will flip Carrolton, Ga. star quarterback Julian “Ju Ju” Lewis.
“Crystal Ball Prediction — I hinted at it on our Recruiting Show Friday, but decided to roll with it tonight,” Loy detailed in a Nov. 10 message on X. “I’m putting in a 247Sports Crystal Ball flip pick for USC Top247 QB commit Julian Lewis to eventually land at Colorado.”
