Questions across the college football landscape are beginning to answer themselves as we approach the final few weeks of the regular season.
For the second time this season, the College Football Playoff rankings were revealed, and following a couple of ranked SEC matchups, another disaster for Iowa State and a major upset of No. 4 Miami, we were treated to a bit of a shake-up on Tuesday evening.
There ended up being four Big Ten teams in the top five, Georgia plummeted out of the top 12 and Colorado continued to climb.
Deion Sanders and his Colorado Buffaloes were beneficiaries of losses around the country, as thanks to the mayhem and a convincing win at Texas Tech, the Buffs were able to jump up in the rankings from No. 20 to No. 17 in the country. Following the announcement, fans around the country made it clear what the Buffs need to do down the stretch to continue to ascend the rankings: win.
“Let’s go men! Keep it rolling! Keep climbing and let the ones in front of you fall,” wrote one fan.
