The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) “recently” arrested a 31-year-old male on felony menacing charges for brandishing a firearm during a road rage incident between Estes Park and Lyons on Highway 36. BSCO announced the arrest on Facebook Thursday, but didn’t disclose the specific date or time of the incident, or the man’s identity.
BSCO reportedly coordinated with the Boulder Police Department and made a “high-risk traffic stop” in Boulder after spotting the vehicle on the North Foothills Highway. Two occupants of the vehicle were detained and a handgun was found in the vehicle, but only the 31-year-old male was arrested according to the BSCO statement. He was booked into the Boulder County Jail. No other details have been provided…
