Colorado DAs think penalties should be stronger for careless driving deaths

LOUISVILLE, Colo. (KDVR) —  A driver who struck and killed a Louisville wife and mother was sentenced for careless driving in Boulder County, but she’s not getting any jail time.

FOX31 spoke with the district attorney about the case and the bigger picture issue he and other DAs see with sentences around these crimes.
