The Northglenn Police Department evacuated more than 100 dogs and cats from a home last week after neighbors complained of animal neglect.
Police executed a search warrant at a home at 1925 E. 116th Drive — in the Wyco Park neighborhood — around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday after the city received a municipal code complaint of unsanitary conditions, according to the department.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a “large” number of dogs and cats within the home in “unsanitary and undesirable conditions,” the department said.
