Man facing charges in LoDo shooting that injured 4, but is not the shooter: police

DENVER (KDVR) — New details are emerging in a shooting that injured four people outside a busy LoDo bar last weekend.

Denver police arrested Damion Britt in connection with the incident near 20th and Market streets. But according to an arrest affidavit shared with FOX31, Britt is not the person who fired the gun.

The affidavit alleges that surveillance video shows Britt arriving at the scene with the suspected shooter and standing beside him as shots were fired. Investigators say Britt never called 911 or attempted to intervene — actions they believe suggest the shooting was planned.

Britt is now facing four counts of investigation of attempted murder and four counts of investigation of first-degree assault…
