2 arrested for firing gun at driver on Colorado highway, eluding deputies

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – Law enforcement arrested two people in Jefferson County on Saturday.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, dispatch received a 911 call around 8 a.m. from a motorist who said an erratic driver fired a handgun at him while traveling on U.S. 6 near Tunnel 1.

Deputies found the suspect vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. The driver allegedly fled eastbound on U.S. 6, then continued southbound on Highway 93 into a neighborhood within the City of Golden…
