Boulder officials see concept to develop housing on Naropa campus

The existing Naropa University campus may be redeveloped into an student residential area.

An application from Core Spaces, a Chicago-based housing developer, proposes turning the roughly 40-year-old home to the private, Buddhist-inspired university at 2130 Arapahoe Ave. into a multi-building housing development with more than 100 units. That application was presented to Boulder’s Planning Board in July and is included in materials for the Boulder City Council ahead of its Thursday meeting.

If council members wish to chime in on the plan at this point, they can call up the application to be discussed in a future meeting…
