DENVER (KDVR) — A man who allegedly was pointing a gun at vehicles on Alameda Avenue near Interstate 25 is in critical condition after at least one Denver police officer shot him when he then pointed his gun at responding officers, Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas said.
The officers responded to a call at about 8:20 a.m. Monday morning of a man pointing a handgun at passing vehicles near Alameda Avenue and Lipan Street, Thomas said, which is just west of I-25.
