A man reports he was stabbed while late-night fishing at Colorado’s McKay Lake, according to the Westminster Police Department.
The incident unfolded on the night of Aug. 25, just before 11 p.m., with law enforcement discovering blood near the lake’s shoreline upon arrival. Further investigation revealed that a 60-year-old man had called 911 to report the incident, then driving himself to a nearby hospital with a non-life-threatening stab wound.
Once authorities caught up with the man, he reported that he had been fishing on the southwest shoreline of McKay Lake with an unknown individual who was wearing a rain jacket and shorts. The person he was fishing with then left, and about 30 minutes later, the man says he was stabbed by another unknown individual…
