4 charged in July shooting at Commerce City convenience store

DENVER (KDVR) — Charges have been filed against four people in connection with a shooting at a convenience store in Commerce City that left four people injured in July.

The shooting happened at a convenience store at the intersection of 69th Avenue and Kearney Street on July 23. The Commerce City Police Department said at the time that it started with a fight inside the store and led to shots being fired between vehicles outside.

The 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday that it filed various charges against four individuals.
