BRIGHTON, Colo. (TCN) — A 50-year-old man faces multiple charges after a 32-year-old pregnant woman was found deceased inside an abandoned vehicle.
The Brighton Police Department discovered the body of Keeley Koff with an apparent gunshot wound on the morning of Aug. 29. Upon further investigation, officials identified James “Jaime” Benavidez as the primary suspect.
According to police, Koff “may have been associated” with Benavidez. He faces charges of first-degree motor vehicle theft, first-degree murder, unlawful termination of pregnancy, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, and habitual domestic violence offender…
