DENVER (KDVR) — A Boulder woman is facing charges of harassment and retaliation against an elected official after an alleged incident on Wednesday involving City Council Member Matt Benjamin and another victim.
The woman, identified as Boulder resident Laura Gonzalez, 38, is accused of yelling at Benjamin and the other alleged victim over recent votes, before allegedly pushing the other alleged victim as they walked away, the Boulder Police Department said Friday.

The alleged incident occurred in the 1200 block of Canyon Boulevard, according to BPD, which said Gonzalez was arrested Thursday night and booked at the Boulder County jail.
